The Austin real estate market remains strong! We're seeing the seasonal softening, which is typical for this time of year. And, interestingly, the market is showing additional softening than just for the seasonality.
The indicators of a softening (or strengthening) market are the active listings, days on market and months of inventory. All three are up from last year at this time.
What's that mean? Not as many buyers are in the marketplace right now. Therefore, it will take a bit longer to sell a home on average. That length goes up as you get into the suburban areas.
Yet, it's still a great time to be a home seller. Home prices are up from last year market-wide. So, even though your home might be on the market a bit longer, you can still sell at a high price. What separates homes in a market like this are how it looks to a buyer and that it's priced right. We take great care to ensure our sellers are in the best position possible with our 3 step home selling process.

The market is showing signs of looking great for the spring time this year, given the inventory levels and pricing. This is true for both buyers and sellers.
